East Yorkshire roads to get an upgrade
ROADS in East Yorkshire have benefited from an extra £300,000 upgrade.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has invested the cash in this year’s surface dressing programme which involves applying a bitumen binder and chippings to the existing road surface, 20 per cent of which are recycled.
Upgraded roads include the A1079 Beverley Bypass, A166 Bishop Wilton, A1079 Shiptonthorpe, A1034 South Cave, and A1035 Seaton, near Hornsea.
