PROTESTORS will march through Beverely town centre today to show their opposition to fracking. The march will begin at 10.30am outside County Hall, and will wind its way through the town. Protestors are aiming to send a message to East Riding of Yorkshire Council that people in the area will not welcome fracking.
The issue has come to the fore in the East Riding recently, since the establishment of “Community Protection Camps” outside Walkington and West Newton where the gas company Rathlin are about to start tests.
