Pupils in Pocklington took a break from school this week to witness the MAD skills of a group of cyclists.
The MAD team of stunt bike riders arrived at the Pocklington Junior School on Tuesday and treated each year group to a 30-minute display of tricks and skills, including a hurdle race which saw the cyclists jump their bikes over a series of hurdles.
The school also welcomed a team of Cycle for Life charity fundraisers, who arrived at Pocklington on their journey around the area in time for lunch.
The team took time to speak to the children about cycle safety and road awareness, and the school presented a cheque for £126 to help their fundraising efforts.
Last week, the pupils all took part in a "dress as a cyclist" day, paying to come to school in fancy dress, and funds raised went to Cycle for Life.
