Artist puts focus on East Yorkshire

EAST Yorkshire will be the focus of a one-man show which begins this week.

Artist Myles Linley will open his Drawings And Paintings Of Hull And East Yorkshire exhibition at Creation Fine Arts in Beverley.

He said: “My paintings are mostly landscapes, seascapes and street scenes. this particular exhibition focuses on East Yorkshire, it’s an incredibly inspiring area, where all of the elements including light, shade, movement and stillness come together to create some dramatic and atmospheric images.”

Nigel Walker, of Creation Fine Arts, said: “Myles has a huge body of work that I'm sure will attract a huge number of visitors. He has a great reputation in the area and we’re really looking forward to the show.”

The show follows recent successful It previews from 6pm to 8.30pm on Friday and anyone interested is welcome to attend. It will run until March 3. Phone 01482 868884 for further information.
