LANDLORDS across Ryedale are calling time on violent dunks. Members of three Pubwatch schemes – in Malton/ Norton, Helmsley/ Kirkbymoorside and Pickering – have pledged to work together to crack down on rowdy behaviour.
Anyone using violent or criminal behaviour in any of their pubs will be banned from all of them, they warn. Good. Nobody wants to stop people enjoying themselves. But there’s no place for violence in our pubs. That just spoils them for everyone.
