IT was the kind of day football-mad schoolboys dream about.
Cameron Scott, aged eight, was chosen to be the mascot for Premier League champions Manchester City in their home game against Arsenal last Sunday.
The youngster led captain Vincent Kompany and his men out in front of 46,000 spectators at the Etihad Stadium.
While not everything on the pitch went quite to plan as City were beaten 2-0, it didn’t spoil things for Cameron, a former Press Child Of The Year who has twice undergone major heart surgery.
“It was the best day of my life!” he said.
