HOW inspiring is this? Twenty-two children will be running the Jane Tomlinson mini/junior fun run next month to raise money for the Leeds Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
Among them will be seven-year-old York school friends Cameron Scott, who underwent emergency heart surgery when just a few days old, and William Flatt, whose baby brother Charlie is recovering from heart surgery.
Also on the team will be eight-year-old Freya Popplewell from Huntington, who is awaiting corrective valve surgery.
Good on them all. Who says children don’t care any more?
