Millennium Bridge is shut too. Water too deep too even risk a bike shuttle. Naturally riverside paths closed as well. Haxby Rd is close to getting flooded with the Foss. River close to the road and could go over it outside New Earswick.

Poppleton by the war Memorial is closed. Was this Morning at least 4 foot deep in the dip, I had the opportunity to watch a silly man wearing a suite drive his Audi A4 into the flood water, simply brilliant! , Car flooded and when he opened door water was pouring out from inside his car, stupid man. I hope the fire brigade charged him or his insurance company, I child could see how deep it was!

"Flood waters on the A19 at Fulford shortly before the road was closed " - Why has the road been closed for such a trivial amount of water?

Tower street is completely closed even to cyclists .... you need to get off your bike and walk on the grass near the law courts/tower
