VOLUNTEERS are needed to help run a new £157,000 skate park in Sowerby near Thirsk.
The Thirsk8 Park was officially opened last month in Gravel Hole Lane.
It is operated by a small team of helpers, but more are needed to open the facility in the morning or close it at night and clear litter.
