A WOMAN has been taken to hospital by air ambulance with leg and pelvic injuries after becoming trapped under a horse in a ditch.
The horse was sedated by a vet and lifting equipment was used to free the casualty, who was trapped by her leg following the accident in Holme On Spalding Moor.
The horse was not injured in the incident, which happened shortly after 10am, a fire service spokesman said.
