AS THE London Olympics began, a letter published in The Press described the impact of the BBC television coverage which was likely to disturb the viewing of “regulars”.
Since then there has been no doubt of the excellence of the TV coverage.
Might it be possible that some of the “regulars” will have been converted to the Olympics?
Watching this spectacle of worldwide interest, as the medals mount for British athletes, it is worth being reminded that these achievements are the result of years of dedication, overcoming injuries, etc.
Congratulations to all contestants. And is it worth mentioning the considerable number of athletes from Yorkshire?
