THE MP for Selby and Ainsty has met a team raising funds for an education scheme in Africa.
Nigel Adams praised volunteers from The Zuri Foundation, which raises money to create opportunities for young people living in the slums of Nairobi in Kenya.
The walkers passed through Selby on their way from Southport to Hornsea. A foundation spokesman said: “We are helping to enable young people to earn a living, get access to education and avoid or leave a life of crime many are forced into for survival.”
