FOUR quad bikes have been stolen in a series of thefts in East Yorkshire.
Three machines were stolen in a matter of hours overnight on Wednesday, August 1, at Aughton, Laytham and Kiplingcotes.
The thieves used cutting equipment to hack the locks off each quad bike.
Another quad bike was stolen at a property in Huggate overnight on July 27.
Sgt Pete Rogers, of the Pocklington policing team, said a blue car, possibly a VW Golf with an 04 registration number, was seen in the area when each of the thefts happened. Sgt Rogers urged quad bike owners to be vigilant and is appealing for anyone with information about the thefts to phone police on 101.
