Andrew Scott takes over at Royal Armouries museum in Leeds

THE former director of the National Railway Museum has taken over the role of running the Royal Armouries museum in Leeds.

Andrew Scott, the former director of York’s National Railway Museum, has been appointed as interim boss of the Armouries in the absence of Lieutenant-General Jonathon Riley, who has been suspended from his role at the museum following issues raised by its auditors, it has been reported.
