TWO bakery shops in Harrogate which were owned by Scarborough-based Bakery Products Ltd have been sold to a new company, saving 16 jobs.
The two shops, one of which included a small bakery, known as Howards, have been bought by Howards Bakery Ltd from administrators The P&A Partnership.
Bakery Products also owned ten Woodhouse The Baker branches which closed along with its Scarborough bakery earlier this month, resulting in 100 redundancies.
