In division one, Karen Hodgson checked out on 111 in the pairs with Alison Walker in Clifton’s win over Burnholme, whose captain Marj Pearson gamed in 23 darts.
Cueball ‘B’ player Lynne Clapham fired a 25-dart leg including 120 and 100 in her singles and shot out on a two-dart 83 in the pairs with Natalie Farmeary, but still finished on the losing side against Tramways.
Walnut Tree were victorious against Cueball ‘A’ and Slipper captain Doreen Johnstone teamed up with Elaine Metcalfe to secure a hard-fought win over Flag.
Castle Howard Ox ‘A’ raced into a 4-0 lead against Edinburgh with a 24-darter from Sandra Bruce and wins for Maggie Tottie, Danni Laycock and Denise Fowler.
A clean sweep in the pairs kept Ox on top of division two, while the team’s ‘B’ ranks also won, beating Severus ‘A’.
Kate and Sarah Rankeillor snatched a narrow win for Acomb ‘A’ over Acomb ‘B’, while Bootham beat hosts Dick Turpin.
