A YORK man has raised more than £1,000 for charity by running three different events.
James Richardson, an employee of Wallis Business Services, aimed to raise £800 for York Against Cancer and York Lollipop, a local charity dealing with hearing loss in young people, because it was York’s 800th year.
Mr Richardson aimed to run 26.2 miles, in under three hours 20 minutes, over three separate events, and completed them just 72 seconds under his target to raise £1,069.
