MORE wards have been closed to visitors and new admissions at York Hospital following an outbreak of winter vomiting bug.
A hospital spokeswoman said wards 23 and 24 closed yesterday. Ward 11, which was closed last week, is understood to have re-opened at the weekend.
Visitors intending to visit any of the affected wards are advised to check with the hospital before travelling.
