FORMER deputy Prime Minster John Prescott has revealed he hates a famous picture of himself taken in York by The Press’s award-winning photographer, Anthony Chapel-Ross.

The political heavyweight was speaking on the latest episode of television show Room 101, where guests are invited to say what they would like to see locked away forever.

Among Lord Prescott’s choices was this picture, taken in 2007 on a visit to York, which he used as an example of why he hates seeing his picture in the media.

However, Anthony, 29, who captured the iconic shot outside Bettys Tea Rooms, said he thought Mr Prescott secretly liked the picture.

“It’s very amusing that it’s stayed with him,” he said “He obviously still thinks about it.”
