Nominations are being taken from the Yorkshire and Humber region for the Unpaid Carer category at the Great British Care Awards.
The awards are organised into several regional finals across a period of months, before the national finals in May.
The ceremonies are designed to promote high standards across the caring sector, promote the dedication displayed by many, and to highlight the positive impact they have on peoples’ lives.
Awards director Lisa Carr said: “Without the millions of unpaid carers many of the elderly and vulnerable members of our communities would not be able to remain independent in their own homes. We look forward to receiving the nominations.”
