Re the letter from Mr Wright of Wrights’ Pies (March 2): Charlie Leadhill was manager at Wrights’ Bridge Street shop in 1950.
Sylvia and I knew him well and still see his daughter Barbara.
We are best friends with her and her husband Denis Kirk who live in Scotland now.
There is a lady who serves on in the St Sampson centre who worked there with her two sisters and Charlie. When we talk to Barbara we will tell her about the letter from Mr Wright.
