PLANS for a wind turbine in an East Yorkshire village could be approved this week.
The Hasholme Renewable Energy Project is looking to install a 78-metre high structure on land near Hasholme Hall in Bursea Lane, Holme-on-Spalding-Moor.
Its application will go before East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s planning committee on Thursday.
Planning officers said it would allow “a more sustainable and viable source of energy” to be used for a nearby agricultural business. Five people have objected to the turbine.
