CHILDREN from Stamford Bridge Primary School will take part in a big swim to help pay for the upkeep of their village swimming pool.
The event is on March 24 and a café will be open from 11am to 5pm. Villagers are fundraising to cover the running costs of the pool and hope to embark on major fundraising over the next 12 to 18 months to replace some of the equipment.
They are organising a campaign under the banner SOAP (Save Our Ageing Pool).
