I HOPE the Government carefully vets City of York Council’s bus plans before dishing out £4.2 million.
The council has ruined prospective bus lanes by cramming in parked cars, cycle lanes and lay-bys. Unless this is rectified, buses will never run to time. There is still no bus station and few routes gel with each another.
Until such problems are addressed, no one is going to use the buses.
