MORE THAN 1,000 families have enjoyed swimming this year using Hambleton District Council leisure centres’ “golden” discounted swim ticket, which allows a family of four to swim together for £11 in Northallerton, and for £10 at Thirsk, Bedale and Stokesley.
There is also a weekly Olympic swim session at each centre where anyone can swim for £2.12 until the closing ceremony of the games. The sessions take place at Thirsk & Sowerby Leisure Centre every Monday from 2pm to 3.30pm; Hambleton Leisure Centre on Tuesdays from 9am to 10.30am; Bedale Leisure Centre on Thursdays from 10am to 11.30am; and Stokesley Leisure Centre on Fridays from 2pm to 3.30pm.
