Yorkshire Ladies missed out on an Atherley Trophy final spot as they lost in the semi-final to Lincoln for the second year running.
The White Rose county kept within reach of their opponents at 54-47 after ten ends.
But the damage was done over the following five-end spell in which Lincolnshire picked up 36 shots to 22 to underpin Yorkshire’s eventual 119-100 defeat.
Carol Instone’s team had the biggest win. Leading 13-11 after 13 ends, they pulled clear to prevail by 24-12.
Helen Walker’s team were the second biggest winners – a seven-end on the trot surge yielding a 22-15 victory.
Linda Harrison’s team won 18-17 after being 10-1 down.
Sue Allen’s side came from 15-7 down to go into the last end leading 17-16 but a two against them unpicked the rally, while Beryl Alderson’s team lost the last three ends to go down 25-11. The normally reliable rink of Joan Mason was surprisingly beaten 32-8.
