NOMINATIONS have been pouring in for our Super Mum competition with husbands and proud children declaring why the woman in their lives should be recognised for her efforts.
The Press and The National Trust’s Mddlethorpe Hall & Spa have teamed up in the search for a mother who deserves a special treat, with a fabulous prize of a stay for two at the luxury hotel up for grabs for the overall winner.
There is still time for family and friends to put names forward – just in time for Mother’s Day. If you can buy a copy of The Press where you live, you’re eigible to enter.
Nominations highlighting what makes your Super Mum so special should be no longer than 200 words and include a good quality head and shoulders photograph of the nominee, and a contact telephone number.
Send nominations to Super Mum Award, c/o Nadia Jefferson-Brown, The Press, 76-86 Walmgate, York, YO1 9YN, or email nadia.jeffersonbrown@thepress.co.uk with the photograph as a jpeg attachment.
A shortlist of finalists will be announced in The Press on March 5. We will then invite readers to decide who should win.
The prize includes a chilled bottle of house champagne to welcome the guests, with a three-course candlelit dinner for two followed by an overnight stay in a superior double room located in the 18th century courtyard. The next day will bring early morning tea, delivered to the room, a full Yorkshire breakfast and a 55-minute Decléor treatment in the Spa for both.
