IN MY roles as Labour Leader of City of York Council and as a councillor for Holgate Ward, I receive a number of letters about pertinent issues from residents.
Today I have received a second letter regarding a ward issue and the resident has stated that I have done nothing whatsoever about the first letter and that if I do not act on the second letter within ten days he will go to local MPs and the media.
I would like to contact the resident about their issue, but there are no contact details included.
Can I request that if residents want a response they please include their name and address? I have many skills but being psychic is not one of them.
Coun James Alexander, Labour Leader of City of York Council.
