ALDWARK Manor Golf & Spa Hotel near York has invested nearly £200,000 in the refurbishment of six of its bedrooms.

The traditional period-style rooms have been made into ‘best in house’ suites in the 54-bedroom hotel, owned by Q-Hotels group.

The six newly refurbished suites are all in the heart of the 17th Century Old Manor House part of the hotel, which has been extended with a contemporary wing.

Design Company Parker Liddell worked together with the in-house team to design each room individually and sympathetically.

Steven Hodgkinson, general manager of Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel, said: “We wanted each room to offer a warm, welcoming environment that combines the traditional charm of the Old Manor House with the latest in modern convenience and style.”
