THIEVES have stolen two distinctive and valuable cycles from a property near Tadcaster.

North Yorkshire Police said the two bikes, together worth £3,500, were taken from a garage on Headwell Lane in Tadcaster.

The incident took place between 10.30pm and 11.15pm on Thursday, October 13.

The bikes are a black and green Felt B16 racing bike with wide aerodynamic tubes, worth about £1,800, and a red Felt F5 road bike with the frame number F11OD1370, valued at £1,700. Both have Felt logos on the frames.
