A RUN of 11 unbeaten games came to an abrupt end for RI Amateurs when they lost 7-1 to Haxby Road in division one of the York Amateur Bowling Association League.
That signalled the start of a bad week for Amateurs as they also lost to Shipton in the Marshal Shield and 76-61 to Dunnington ‘A’ in the Williamson Cup semi-finals.
Dunnington will meet Selby in the final after they toppled Burnholme 96-58. The final will be played on Monday at the York RI green in Ashton Lane.
West Park will stage the Freedom & Fellowship Cup final between Clifton and Hull Road Park on the same day.
