RESIDENTS living near the proposed site for York’s new community stadium will get another chance to take a look at the plans tomorrow.
Oakgate (Monks Cross) Ltd held two public exhibitions last month as it prepares to submit a full planning application to City of York Council for a development on the Vangarde site at Monks Cross.
It would include a 120,000sq ft Marks & Spencer store and another retail unit, as well as a 6,000-seater stadium for York City FC and York City Knights on the site of Huntington Stadium.
Hundreds of people visited last month’s exhibitions, and a further display will be held at Orchard Park Community Centre in Badger Paddock, Huntington, between 3pm and 7pm tomorrow.
Plans for the proposed development will be on show and representatives from the developers will be available to answer questions.
