A THUG who broke another man’s jaw outside a York nightclub remains at large more than three months on.

Police are now urging the public to help them find their suspect and have released this CCTV image as part of their appeal.

The attack on a 20-year-old man took place inside The Gallery nightclub in Clifford Street, at about 1.30am on Saturday, February 12.

He was hit in the face, suffered a broken jaw and was taken to York Hospital.

Det Con Emma Drummond, of North Yorkshire Police, said: “This was a vicious and unprovoked assault which left the man needing treatment for a nasty facial injury.”

She said the image was not very clear but asked people to study it to see if they recognised the man in the black T-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to phone police on 0845 6060247, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
