TWO veteran fundraisers will make a landmark walk for Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday.
Huntington resident Andrew Fair, 51, and Kath Burton, who both work at Sainsbury’s Monks Cross store, will be marking the charity’s 100th year and Andrew’s 25th year with the firm.
They will set off from Lendal Bridge at 10am on a sponsored walk that will include the City Walls and several city centre streets.
Andrew said: “Macmillan have supported two members of staff at Sainsbury’s and I really wanted to give something back to say thank you for the help. To sponsor him and Kath, phone 01904 756431.
