YORK Lions Club would once again wish to thank the general public who contributed so generously to recent collections we have made for local causes, charities and individuals.
These collections included: £312 from bag-packing at Tescos, ably assisted by a local youth club; £442 from Coppergate, with much thanks to Shepherd’s Concert band; and £287 from a book/CD stall in Parliament Street – £1,041 in total.
Without people’s generosity, we cannot do our work.
