POLICE have warned cat owners in the East Riding of Yorkshire that a number of animals have been poisoned.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team in Beverley said several cats had been poisoned in Woodmansey, possibly with anti-freeze, resulting in at least one death.
A police spokesman said the crime was similar to a number of poisonings from several years ago, and urged anyone with information to phone them on 0845 6060222.
