AFTER the drama of the first major of the season, the Masters, York-born Simon Dyson returns to the European Tour with a Far East drive tomorrow.
World number 89 Dyson, who did not qualify for the Masters won at Augusta by South African Charl Schwartzel, will form part of a Yorkshire twosome in the Maybank Malayasian Open, which carries a prize fund of $2.5 million.
One of his partners over the first two rounds is Danny Willett, the Sheffield-born player coached by Graham Walker, the head pro at The Oaks GC in Aughton.
The three-ball is completed by Malaysia’s Pariya Junhasavsdikul.
The next trio to immediately follow Dyson and Co in the first round at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club comprises Harrogate GC ace John Parry, India’s Jyoti Randhawa and Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand.
