FIRE crews from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue have been called to assist plant workers at Drax power station due to a blaze at the site.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said an appliance from Selby was called to the power plant at about 4.45pm, to assist the power station in tackling a large amount of biomass which was on fire.
