ROBERT Johnson appears to be concerned about the amount of Baronesses in the House of Lords (Letters, April 4).
He may be interested to know that there are 181 female members of the House of Lords, compared to 650 male.
Women are grossly under-represented in both houses of Parliament, so surely the question should be why are there so many men in the House of Lords?
