POLICE in Selby are stepping up the fight against vehicles that do not have the correct insurance.
Officers will target road users who are using vehicles for commercial purposes without proper insurance.
Inspector Richard Abbott, of the Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Officers will stop any vehicle that it appears is being used for a business purpose. If the van does not have the correct insurance it may be seized and the driver summonsed to court.”
