A SCHEME to create a new cycle centre on the site of a former parcels office at York Station has been approved.
Bishopthorpe Road-based Cycle Heaven applied for permission to set up a business selling, hiring out and repairing bikes at the old Red Star office, which has been disused since the firm stopped operating.
The development will see the office being given a facelift and will tie in with the company’s existing store.
