WIGGINTON B' will play Fulford Cons in the final of the York Veterans' Bowls League Triples Competition at the Retreat next Tuesday at 2pm.
Acomb A' led Fulford 11-7 after seven ends in their semi-final but a run of ten shots in four ends gave Fulford a 15-11 lead.
Acomb reduced the arrears to two shots with four ends to play, but four shots on the next three ends gave Fulford a six-shot lead playing the last end. Acomb managed to score four making the final score 21-19.
Wigginton beat West Park B' 23-12 in their semi.
West Park led 11-5 after seven ends but then Wigginton scored nine shots on the next four ends to lead 14-11. After West Park scored a single on the next end, Wigginton scored a further nine shots on the next two, which led to West Park conceding with two ends to play.
