76-year-old cyclist taken to hospital after collision

AN ELDERLY cyclist has been taken to hospital after a road traffic collision in Clifton, York, this morning.
The 76-year-old suffered a broken arm and a cut to her head in the collision with a Vauxhall Meriva at the Water Lane junction at Clifton Green at about 9.05am. She was taken to York Hospital for treatment.
