I NOTED Mike Usherwood's reply (A typical cyclist, The Press, August 16, 2006) to my letter (Cycling hell, August 12) and was not disappointed.
Regular readers of The Press will know that this gentleman lampoons any letter sent in by a cyclist, irrespective of whether they have a valid point or not.
It would have been too easy to pick holes in the points that he raised, but I didn't want to waste ink.
All that I would ask of Mike Usherwood is, where is this cycle lane in Station Rise that he would like me to stick to?
Perhaps he isn't as observant as he thinks he is!
