I AM appalled at those who have criticised Dr Sentamu's so-called "political interference".
Just because he is a cleric occupying a high position in the Church of England most certainly does not and should not prevent him from making such a stand.
I would like to applaud him for both his honesty and obvious sincerity in taking this very visible stance by praying for peace in the Middle East.
We should all be doing this and not making negative criticisms which do not help.
