THE Elvington Air Show wasn't as good as it could have been for the entrance fee.
The usual climax to the show, the Red Arrows, were greatly missed, and the air museum side of it (included in the price) is miles away when parked at the top of the airfield.
Three or four weeks ago I watched a very good air show at Sunderland, which included the Red Arrows, and it was free admission.
I rest my case.
