THERE’S an ideal opportunity to find out what make-up suits you best when Boots in Coney Street, York, stages a charity beauty school event on March 24 in support of the York Teaching Hospital Charity.

The event will take place between 6pm and 8pm, and organisers Clinique to provide a fun night.

Tickets for the evening cost £5 which includes a glass of wine and free treats will be provided to everyone that attends.

The event will provide women with the chance to learn how to apply make up like a professional.

Amy Walmsley, Clinique account manager at Boots in York, said: “We are really excited to be holding this event. We want ladies to bring friends, sisters, mums and daughters with them for what is sure to be a great evening, for a fantastic cause.”

Lucy Watson, fundraising manager at the York Teaching Hospital Charity, said: “We are really grateful to Clinique for choosing to support the York Teaching Hospital Charity.

Any money raised from the event will go towards the Lots Of Cots Appeal to raise money for new cots for the hospital’s Labour Ward.
