A WOMAN driver whose car was trapped in water while crossing a ford was rescued by firefighters.
Fire crews from Ripon and Harrogate, and swift water rescue teams from Whitby and Richmond, were sent to Low Mill Road, Ripon, at about 10.30am yesterday.
