AN EAST Yorkshire SureStart children’s centre is to be officially opened on Monday.
The centre on First Lane, Anlaby, will be opened by Coun David Rudd, chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council and seven-year-old Niamh Bye, the winner of the competition to design a logo for the new centre.
The event runs from 1pm to 3pm and activities include a bush tucker breakfast trial, free play activities, the health bus, free five-a-day bags and face-painting.
Entry is free and there is no need to book in advance. The centre will offer a range of services for babies and children under five and families.
