THE Archbishop of York will speak about his life’s journey at All Saint’s Church, Pocklington, at an open evening on February 25, at 7.30pm.
The event has been organised by the Rev Geoff Hollingsworth, Vicar of Pocklington. He said: “We’re delighted that Dr Sentamu is coming to Pocklington to speak about his life and faith, and his extraordinary journey from Uganda to Yorkshire. “The evening will be chaired by the Bishop of Selby, the Rt Rev Martin Wallace, and there will also be opportunities for questions from the audience.”
The event is free of charge, but tickets must be booked from All Saints’ parish office.
